The goal of the project is to create a comprehensive explanation interface to help a target audience make informed decisions. You will work in groups of no more than four students. More detailed instructions will be provided in the weekly assignments during the project.

Task 1 - Data Analysis & Formulating Questions
The goal of the HCDS group project is to create a comprehensive explanation interface to help a target audience make informed decisions in an AI assisted decision making scenario, which you will present in the last lecture of the semester. More detailed instructions will be provided in the following weekly assignments. In this first assignment, you will form groups and decide on what dataset to use. Brainstorm!
Resources for Task 1Task 2 - Group Project Proposal
In this assignment, you work on your project proposal. This proposal includes the data set description, the decision-making scenario you want to focus on and a stakeholder analysis.
Resources for Task 2Task 3 - Paper Prototyping
In this assignment, you will continue working on the group project and create a prototype. To accomplish this, you will first think about the potential users of your Explanation Interface application and then generate ideas about how to design for them. Then, you will sketch the interface and implement an interactive prototype that you can share with others.

In this Assignment, we continue with the Group Project by training a ML Model and corresponding explanations.

In this Assignment, we continue with the Group Project. You will make progress in the development of your group's Explanation Interface. You will also prepare a user study for next week's exercise to get feedback on the current state of your interface.
